The Alpha Nu Omega graduate chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. would like to acknowledge an accomplishment of our own. Brother Eric Griffin recently participated in the BP MS 150 bike challenge from Houston to Austin. This is a 180 mile challenge that bikers from all over the nation participate in every year to bring awareness to the chronic nervous system disease Multiple Sclerosis. Bro. Griffin helped raise an estimated 18.1 million dollars along with the other volunteers to bring awareness to the events three pillars:
Advocacy - offering a different perspective for existing and newly diagnosed MS patients.
Community Outreach - to those individuals affected by MS and their peers.
MS Visibility - spreading the word on the MS movement.
